Project MUSE welcomes Tricia Miller as Senior Manager, Sales & Library Relations
By Project MUSE
Project MUSE is pleased to announce the appointment of Tricia Miller to the newly-established position of Senior Manager of Sales & Library Relations. Miller’s addition to MUSE’s recently-created department of Library and Publisher Partnerships furthers a strategic growth process at MUSE that has seen the organization enhance its capacity and reach, while strengthening the alignment of its relationships and services for these key constituencies.
Miller most recently served as Marketing Manager for Sales, Partnerships, & Initiatives at Annual Reviews, and was a key contributor to the organization’s development of and successful transition to a Subscribe to Open (S2O) model for its large portfolio of review journals. She will bring this knowledge and experience to MUSE’s own upcoming launch of an S2O program, built around its foundational interdisciplinary and multi-publisher journal collections, starting in 2025.
"I am thrilled that Tricia Miller has joined our expanding organization, where we will benefit greatly from her experience in sales, partnership management, and Subscribe to Open,” said Kelley Squazzo, Director of Library & Publisher Partnerships at Project MUSE. “I am excited for the MUSE sales team to work under Tricia’s leadership to develop future-forward strategies that focus on the alignment of revenue growth, content acquisitions, and the shared missions of our partners.”
“I’m eager to join the sales team at Project MUSE and further the mission to promote the creation and dissemination of essential humanities and social science resources,” said Miller, “while also continuing the work to make global access to all scholarly literature as equitable and available as possible.”
Prior to her tenure at Annual Reviews, Miller served as Manager of Global Sales and Marketing at the Alliance of Crop, Soil, & Environmental Science Societies, where her accomplishments included a more than 50% increase in subscription product sales over just three years. She holds a Master of Science in Technical and Professional Communication from the University of Wisconsin - Stout, along with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Industries and Marketing from the University of Minnesota, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
